The OCEANIDS consortium met in Málaga, Spain, on 10–11 November 2025 for its 4th Plenary Meeting. Hosted by the Malaga City Council and the Malaga Port Foundation, the two-day gathering brought partners together to review progress, align ongoing work, and prepare for the next stages of the project.
Held at the Real Club Mediterráneo, the meeting focused on updates across all work packages, including stakeholder engagement, technical development, pilot preparations, and communication and dissemination activities. Discussions ensured that tools, data services, and validation plans remain closely connected to users’ needs in coastal regions.
Partners also joined a guided visit to the Port of Málaga, gaining insight into port operations and local challenges relevant to the project’s upcoming demonstration activities. This exchange supported stronger cooperation with end users and reinforced the importance of practical, region-driven perspectives.
OCEANIDS thanks the hosts in Málaga for their warm welcome and organisation. The meeting marked an important step as the project continues developing inclusive and data-driven pathways to support coastal resilience and a sustainable blue economy.
